Kendra Williams has been with the Fried Center for Global Engagement since 2000. In her role as the assistant director, Kendra’s primary responsibilities include advising students interested in off campus study, and she is involved with most aspects connected to the off campus study process. In addition to helping students navigate the steps associated with studying off campus, Kendra also maintains her close connections with Hope’s international student population and their needs.

Prior to joining the staff in the Fried Center, Kendra was the assistant director of financial aid and worked in the Financial Aid Office at Hope for 15 years.

Why I Love Hope

Kendra loves working with students and she counts it as a great privilege to walk alongside such amazing students in a setting like Hope College. There is such a spirit of adventure in most college students; working with them as they map out their off campus study and seeing the growth in them as they return to campus is one of the very best parts of her work.

Outside the College

Kendra is a wife, mother, sister and daughter who enjoys golfing, hiking with her husband, Dave, and their Australian shepherd, Burt, and spending time on Lake Michigan and its beautiful shoreline.
