Education

  • M.A., educational leadership, Western Michigan University, 2017
  • B.A., communication, Hope College, 2000

Professional experience

Prior to returning to Hope, Beth was responsible for marketing and membership at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. She had previously been with Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, supporting both the marketing and philanthropy teams.

Why I love Hope

Beth loves West Michigan and the sense of community that can be found here. She finds Hope to be a magical place where that sense of community is shared among everyone on campus — from students, to faculty, to support staff, to parents. She believes that everyone contributes something valuable to the development of Hope students.

Outside the college

Beth loves moving and hates sitting still. After work, you will find her running, rowing, paddling, swimming, biking or taking long golf cart rides with her husband and two equally active children.
